Format of data files
The data values are in row and column formats, with each column separated by a tab character, and each row being a new line. The first row is a header row in each of the files, indicating the meaning of the data in each column. The first two values in each row are integer values that indicate the data series and industry respectively. The remaining values in each row are the data for the years 1958 through 2010 for the employment data and 1972 through 2010 for the industry output data. The projections data file has historical data for 2010 as well as the projections for the year 2020. The projections file only contains series 1-7.
A period (".") denotes missing values.
